Abstract:
The article presents the results of studies on the composition and properties of the organic part of oil sludge formed during oil production in the fields of western Ukraine. The thermal stability of the oil sludge organic part was studied. As a result of low-temperature pyrolysis of the organic (hydrocarbon) part of oil sludge, pyrolysis oil (pyrocondensate) was obtained. The fractional composition and properties of pyrolysis oil were studied. Pyrolysis oil was separated into gasoline fraction, diesel fraction, and the residue. The composition and properties of these fractions were determined. X-ray fluorescence analysis of pyrolysis oil and narrow fractions separated from it was performed. The composition and properties of the solid residue of the oil sludge hydrocarbon part after the pyrolysis process were investigated. It is proposed to use the narrow fractions separated from pyrolysis oil to produce motor fuels.
