Показано, що стандартні розчини на основі портланд-цементу, які використовуються у сучасному будівництві, модифіковані ліофільною кактусовою смолою, одержаною з місцевого мексиканського кактуса. Одержані результати свідчать про зростання міцності при стисканні на 65%, порівняно із стандартними розчинами.
