Compliance with the Scientific Data Deposition Policy
The Editorial Board of the journal “Chemistry & Chemical Technology” encourages authors to make their manuscripts publicly available on the Internet (for example, in institutional or subject-specific repositories or on personal websites), as this promotes productive scientific discussion and positively influences the visibility and citation impact of published research.
Authors are entitled to conclude independent, additional agreements on the non-exclusive distribution of their articles in the form published by the journal (for example, by depositing them in an institutional electronic repository or publishing them as part of a monograph), provided that a reference to the original publication in Chemistry & Chemical Technology is clearly indicated.
Self-archiving of preprints (manuscript versions before peer review) and postprints (manuscript versions approved for publication during the peer-review process), as well as the publisher’s final PDF versions, is permitted during and after editorial processing. Archived preprints are not considered plagiarism when checking manuscripts for borrowing and copying of text and research results.
The MANUSCRIPT should correspond to the journal’s scope and be written in competent English, clearly and concisely. Articles written in incorrect English and those that do not conform to the level and/or scope of the journal will be rejected automatically without consideration. Authors are solely responsible for the content of their published materials. Authors from Ukraine must also include a Ukrainian version of the manuscript. Authors should ensure that issues related to publication ethics, manuscript structure, figure format, and references are properly addressed.
A COVER LETTER is attached to the publication submitted for consideration, which is written in an arbitrary form and must contain the following information: the name of the manuscript, the list of authors, thematic area and a brief description of the article; declaration of any security and/or ethical issues; conflict of interest/sponsorship declaration; confirmation that the article has not been previously published, is not currently under consideration for publication in another journal, and does not contain plagiarism. The cover letter should include AUTHOR INFORMATION on page 2 and PROPOSED REVIEWER INFORMATION (at least 3) on page 3. Proposed reviewers MUST NOT HAVE ANY PUBLICATIONS IN COMMON AND MUST NOT HAVE THE SAME AFFILIATION WITH THE ARTICLE AUTHORS. The editors reserve the right to select the final reviewers.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE AUTHORS should contain the following: name, surname, email, scientific degree, affiliation to the institution/organization, Orcid profile link, Scopus profile link, WoS profile link, h-index, description of the field of interest, consent/non-consent regarding the review of journal articles.
INFORMATION ABOUT PROPOSED REVIEWERS should contain the following: name, surname, email, scientific degree, affiliation to the institution/organization, Scopus profile link, and h-index.
After a preliminary evaluation by the Editorial Board and acceptance of the manuscript as falling within the journal's scope, the article is registered, and the registration number is assigned to the authors. The manuscript is considered accepted for review.
